Hi, I'm Elease! I've been a registered nurse for over 15 years, with experience in critical care, home health, and health coaching.

Throughout my career, I've learned that healthcare can be overwhelming, especially when you're trying to understand a diagnosis, make sense of discharge instructions, or figure out what comes next.

Somewhere along the way, I became the person everybody calls with their medical questions. Family, friends, and sometimes people I've just met!

That's what inspired Ask the Nurse Next Door.

I wanted to create a space where people could ask questions, learn about their health, and better understand the healthcare system without feeling intimidated or embarrassed.

My goal is to make healthcare make sense in everyday language, while bringing a little personality and humor to conversations that aren't always easy to have.

Because I believe understanding your health is just as important as taking care of it.
